Özgün Turgut is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Neurology and the Institute of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He completed his masters in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at TUM and the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. In his previous projects, he worked on machine learning models for in-vitro diagnostic devices that allow for low-cost, high-throughput haematology analysis in clinical practice. Currently, he is developing multimodal AI to analyse medical time series data, including electroencephalography (EEG) and electrocardiography (ECG) signals.
