I am a Ph.D. student at the Institutes of Radiology and Artificial Intelligence and Informatics in Medicine at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). I completed both my bachelors and masters jointly at the TUM and LMU in Munich in the area of Bioinformatics. Many of my early projects concerned Next Generation Sequencing data and hospital genetic pipelines before I started working in the field of deep learning. In my master’s thesis I developed a GAN to synthesize tau-PET images from structural MR images to aid in the research and diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease. Currently, I am developing multi-modal deep learning models that utilize the full breadth of information available in the medical domain, including patient background, genetic profile, and imaging data.
